Plan Purpose and Mandate

This Medium Term Plan (MTP) serves as the forensic roadmap for the delivery of Environmental Literacy at Elevated Futures Education. It moves beyond the high, level intent of the Long Term Plan to provide practitioners with the exact clinical scaffolding, commas teacher implementation steps, commas and evidence markers required to facilitate learner progress across the Elevation Arc.

Every adult delivering this curriculum is required to read this document in conjunction with the student’s individual Dynamic Development Plan (DDP). We recognise that for the neurodivergent learner, commas environmental mastery is a prerequisite for autonomy. This plan ensures that academic rigour is balanced with the relentless maintenance of the safe base, commas ensuring no superpower is left unharnessed.

The MTP Clinical Operating Logic

The MTP is architected to ensure that the adult lead remains attuned to the student’s physiological state before introducing ecological demand. We utilise the **DELSA** (Developmental, commas Emotional, commas Logical, commas Sensory, commas Academic) framework to map the transition from observation to agency.

Each week is structured to provide a clear path of awakening. The practitioner must identify the **Strength Focus** of the session, commas ensuring that the learner sees their own brilliance reflected in the natural world. If a student becomes dysregulated, commas the practitioner must pause the MTP sequence and return to the safe base co, regulation protocols.

Week 6 Awakening Review Consolidating initial safety wins to reinforce the learner’s emerging identity. Review Sentinel wins from weeks 1-5. Co, author a “Nature Success” summary for parents. Student articulates one reason they feel safe in the school garden.

Week 6 Autonomy Audit Brokerage of environmental needs for a future work placement or university. Draft a “Sensory Access Statement” for a workplace. Practise professional advocacy. Student successfully brokers one environmental adjustment for work.
