Mission Statement

Elevated Futures Education is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and young people. We recognise our statutory and moral responsibility to ensure that safeguarding is embedded into every aspect of our practice, culture, and governance.

Designated Safeguarding Leadership

Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)

Mrs Doreen Sinclair McCollin

Mrs Sinclair McCollin is trained to Level 3 Safeguarding, and in line with best practice and statutory guidance, her safeguarding training is scheduled to be updated at the next available course delivered by the relevant South Safeguarding Board.

Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead

Rashaan Okotie

Rashaan Okotie, who has recently been recruited, will complete Level 3 Safeguarding training at the same South Safeguarding Board session as the Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring continuity, consistency, and shared professional understanding within the safeguarding leadership team.

Staff Safeguarding Training

All permanent, temporary, and seasonal staff employed by Elevated Futures Education completed Level 2 Safeguarding training on Monday 5 January 2026.

This training covered statutory safeguarding responsibilities, recognising signs of abuse and neglect, reporting procedures, professional boundaries, and the role of staff in maintaining a culture of vigilance and early intervention.

Ongoing Commitment

Elevated Futures Education maintains a proactive approach to safeguarding through regular policy review, continuous professional development, and close alignment with local safeguarding partnership guidance. Safeguarding is treated as an ongoing responsibility and is central to our ethos and operational decision making.
